| I brought a pair of these trousers last winter along with my Fell-walking buddy, as we were both fed up with the constant hassle of overtrousers. We first tested these trousers the following weekend in the Black Mountains on the worst day we could find on the forecast. After 6 hours of driving rain and wet snow on the ridge, we emerged with warm, dry, comfortable legs but damp, wet-necked and wet-cuffed top halfs. As we had worn conventional high quality mountain jackets. I have now gone out and brought a Páramo jacket for this winter. I am a complete convert - this technology has to be used to be believed. I now fear no weather that the British weather can send. | ||
