The membrane-free fabric, which is based on the principles of mammal fur, is supple and quiet, with very high breathability and weatherproof ratings. Venting options are extensive, including horizontal zips along the upper arms. The cut allows excellent freedom of movement and room to layer. Length is on the short side: the hem finishes at crotch height on both men's and women's. Pockets are well sized and placed for use with a rucksack. The hood, to is a winner; it is adjustable, quiet, has good peripheral vision and moves with you head. Waist and hem draw cords finish at the sides.
